TREKKING

Going on "trek." That is the quintessential word for missionary life. I grew up with the word. Dad did "it" as a missionary in Nigeria. It is part of South African history. It flavors my thoughts of Africa. It is "the" word of my life. Pack up your tent and join me!

CANDIDATE ORIENTATION



Here are some of the folk who are considering joining BMW. We spent last week and all this week meeting together. They are getting to know us... we are getting to know them. And we are getting them ready for deputation.

We also have a group here doing "field prep" work as they head out of their first term on the field. And we have a board meeting this week. So these are good days!

Looks like a great group! Any interested in heading to Argentina?! :-) We're looking forward to having a young lady from one of our supporting churches with us for a few months, and next year there's the possibility a young man from our home church will come to Palabra de Vida in Bs. As. and spend time with us as well. We do our best to recruit! Our team has decided we need some "young blood" since Ivan and I didn't exactly lower the average age for missionaries when we came. LOL
