TREKKING

Going on "trek." That is the quintessential word for missionary life. I grew up with the word. Dad did "it" as a missionary in Nigeria. It is part of South African history. It flavors my thoughts of Africa. It is "the" word of my life. Pack up your tent and join me!

GERMANY


We just completed a conference for BMW missionaries serving in Europe. These folk get together once a year to re-charge batteries and get ready for the next phase of ministry. They are working in difficult settings with plenty of potential for discouragement. But they keep at it. Fabulous time. Now it is off to Romania!

We have good friends in Romania, working with Greater Europe Mission. Andy and Pam LaBreche, should you get a chance to meet them. I know in some countries the missionary community is fairly small so everyone knows everyone else. Not sure if that's the case in Romania but thought it might be :-)
